About the College

Established in 1949‭, ‬the Academic Arab college is the largest and leading Arab academic college of education in the North of Israel‭, ‬catering to thousands of students enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in education‭, ‬teaching certification courses‭, ‬and advanced career training‭. ‬Many of our graduates continue their studies through pursuing advanced degrees and training‭, ‬both in Israel and overseas‭.‬‮ ‬

The College maintains high standards and is a leader in innovation‭. ‬It offers a variety of programs‭: ‬a Bachelor of Education degree‭ (‬B.Ed‭.), ‬a Master of Education‭ (‬M‭. ‬Ed‭.) ‬degree‭ (‬with and without a thesis‭) ‬as well as a specialized program geared to retraining academics for career development in education‭. ‬The College also offers M.Teach degrees‭ ‬‮–‬‭ ‬a Master of Teaching degree combined with a teaching certification for secondary schools‭. ‬In addition‭, ‬there are special programs created for specific populations‭ ‬such as adult education‭.‬‮ ‬

Over 7000‭ ‬students from the Arab sector in Israel study at the Arab College for Education for B.Ed‭. ‬and M.Ed‭. ‬degrees‭.‬
