About the College


Established in 1949, the Academic Arab college is the largest and leading Arab academic college of education in the North of Israel, catering to thousands of students enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in education, teaching certification courses, and advanced career training. Many of our graduates continue their studies through pursuing advanced degrees and training, both in Israel and overseas.
The College maintains high standards and is a leader in innovation. It offers a variety of programs: a Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed.), a Master of Education (M. Ed.) degree (with and without a thesis) as well as a specialized program geared to retraining academics for career development in education. The College also offers M.Teach degrees – a Master of Teaching degree combined with a teaching certification for secondary schools. In addition, there are special programs created for specific populations such as adult education.
Over 7000 students from the Arab sector in Israel study at the Arab College for Education for B.Ed. and M.Ed. degrees.
Over 180 lecturers and staff members who have academic and professional experience in different areas of study.
